2018 PAEA Education Forum: Presenter Resources

Status notifications have been emailed to all those who submitted proposals for the 2018 PAEA Education Forum. If you have not received an email, please contact PAEA staff at Forum@PAEAonline.org.

If your proposal has been accepted, please refer to the email sent to the primary author for detailed information.

Presentation rooms will be set up with a laptop, LCD projector, podium with microphone, and a lapel microphone. Other laptops will not be allowed to connect to the conference AV system. Wireless internet will be available on the presentation laptop.

Presenters must upload their conference proceedings (presentation) no later than 11:59 p.m. ET on Tuesday, October 9.

Upload your Presentation

  • All presenters are required to upload their presentation to guarantee that it will be available at the Forum as well as on the Forum app (if desired).
  • Please ensure that all links are functional for a successful presentation.
  • While these materials will be available on your presentation computer in Anaheim, it is always a good idea to bring an extra copy on a jump drive.
  • If you update your presentation after October 9, you must bring a copy of it with you to the Forum.

Please check the final conference onsite guide for any changes in your presentation day, time, and location.

Reminders

Each session has an assigned moderator who will introduce your session, keep you on time, track attendance, and evaluate the session. At the beginning of the presentation, they will introduce themselves to you and then sit in the back of the room. They are there to assist you, so please rely on them. All correspondence regarding proposals will be sent only to the primary author. Please forward information you receive about your presentation to your co-presenter(s), if applicable.

Schedule

When scheduling the education sessions, PAEA makes every effort to schedule the main contact/presenter to avoid overlap with any of the presenter’s other presentations. To the best of our ability, we have also checked the schedules of co-presenters and facilitators to minimize any overlap in presentations for them as well. Unless an unexpected urgent situation arises, no change to the education session schedule will be made at the request of the presenter.

Registration, Hotel, and Travel

Unless notified previously, presenters are responsible for their own travel and hotel arrangements and associated costs. Registration for the Education Forum is not included with an accepted proposal. You can register through the conference website. If you have additional questions about your presentation, please contact us at Forum@PAEAonline.org.
